DÄNISCHES WARM BLOOD, black 2009 16 3 ½ hands
Breeder: Linette Jæger/DEN
Licensed 2012 in Herning/DEN (by DWB)
Approved for DWB, Oldenburg, Hanoverian, other Verbands on request!
Sezuan – the double World Champion! As already at National Championships of five-years-old dressage horses, Sezuan left no doubt about his outstanding talent in the six-years-old class in 2015. With dream mark 10.0 the judges valued his spectacular canter and his absolutely amazing overall impression. For his exemplary suppleness he obtained the mark 9.8 and his trot was marked 9.7. With a total score of 9.72 his title at World Championships of six-years-old dressage horses in Verden was again safe, after he had clearly won the qualification competitions before under his rider Dorothee Schneider.
The pedigree of his sire, Blue Hors Zack, combines extremely valuable bloodlines through Rousseau, Jazz and Belisar and he was a Champion Stallion not only in the Netherland but also in Denmark. 2015 he was able to celebrate victories up to Inter I level with Daniel Bachmann Andersen/DEN. His offspring make him omnipresent: at the Danish licensing in 2013 he was again the sire of the Champion Stallion after his son Zorba Højris had triumphed the year before, in Herning in 2012. His daughters dominate Elite Broodmare Shows everywhere.
Sezuan‘s dam, Bøgegårdens Don Romina, is a gold medal mare who also took the Mare of the Year title in Denmark.
The dam’s sire, Blue Hors Don Schufro, is a son of Donnerhall, a stallion who still strongly influences what goes on in dressage. He won team bronze under Andreas Helgstrand with the Danish team at the Olympic Games in Hongkong.
Sezuans granddam, BøgegårdensLaina, is a bronze medal mare.
Sezuan passed his stallion performance test in 2012 in Denmark with scores never awarded before: He was actually given the highest possible score of 10.0 ten times!
In 2013 Sezuan continued his victory march and became the Danish Champion Stallion with 10.0 for his walk and canter and 9.5 for his trot.
Following this, he went on to become the best four-year old dressage horse in Denmark at the competition in Odense. Here he was again awarded the dream score of 10.0 for his trot, canter and willingness to perform and 8.9 for his walk. With a total of 9.68, the title was rightfully his.
2015 he already presented the highly elegant Oldenburg premium sire Sam from his first year, who is out of Stud Peterhof’s bred. His fantastic movements in all three gaits caused standing ovations. Throughout Europe Sezuan’s foals are setting totally new standards. So he had presented after the Danish victory, the colt Strandagergards Sirocco, which was auctioned off with a record price of 74,000 Euro in 2014. On top of that he sired the filly Schwarze Schwalbe Macohl, the Danish Foal Champion in 2015. A range of further show victories and auction tops are listed.
Sezuan ….he might not be able tread on water, but almost!

In 2015 the noble chestnut, who is meanwhile also licensed for Denmark, debuted in riding-horses competitions and won with the expected high scores. He took sixth place under Jessica Michel/FRA at the World Championships for young dressage horses in 2013. Meanwhile six of his sons have been licensed in Germany. Among them the Westphalian victory stallion and price record D’Egalité.
His dam St.Pr.St. Linda is a full sister of St.Pr.A. Lady Gagga who collects ribbons in dressage up to Inter I. The benefits of the line founding stallion Lauries Crusador xx are reaped through the dam’s sire Londonderry. The performance line of Delicta has produced many top sport horses.
